Twilight is a love story with a twist. Stephenie Meyer has very impressively expressed her range of emotions. It is an unusual plot, which involves a vampire and an average teenage girl, who has sacrificed her haven and has come to live with her father, her parents being divorced. As if her life was not topsy turvy enough, Bella (the central character) goes on to fall in love with Edward (a vampire). This story provides us with an insight how love does not always have to happen between two people who share similar interests. Edward has been a vampire for over two hundred years and finding Bella has filled in the void in him. This book is a celebration of immortal love which sees no boundaries and has no limits.
Though the story seems quite like a fairy tale with a happy ending, what all girls are fond of and hope for someday, the author could have presented a better ending ,because logically and technically a vampire and a mortal being cannot coexist. A vampire can rise from his ashes but unfortunately that would not be possible for a mortal.

Though I have to admit, by far, this has been one of the best books I have read. My personal rating to this book would be 9/10.
