Since the age of ten Percy jackson has been one of the best books that I have read.Percy jackson not only has action,rom-com or thriller but also makes us become Greek myth fans.Rick has majestically blended Greek mythology with the modern world that it really felt great to read it. The story focuses on a dyslexic child called Percy who is living a life of dullness and sorrow but soon realizes that he is the son of the Greek god Poseidon.Later he is sent to camp halfblood where meets other children who are also posessing supernatural powers and discovers some really good friend over there.Their guidance counsellor who is a centaur gives him certain quests in each saga which he has to accomplish without fail along with his friends Annabeth and Grover. The whole story exhibits the potent charisma in this young lad who represents himself as a leader with a kind approach and mostly shows presence of mind.Throughout the journey he conquers various Ogres and Chimeras and gains weapons which helps him in future moves.Whether Percy accomplishes the feat and saves his friends or not is all the story is about. The basic plus points of this book are that you not only have so many genres in this book but that it has a unique blend with Greek myth which makes the story superbly awesome and inspires many like me.A must buy for those who love action packed thrillers. As specifically describes by a magazine that Rick takes us in depths of Greek myth and suddenly shakes the cobwebs out of them.Surely it does that in a mesmerizingly memorable way.
