One Night At The Call Center by Chetan Bhagat

The story starts with the author meeting a lady during his travel and the lady narrates the story to the author … the promise that the author make to the lady is that to publish this as his story. The story revolves around six people who are working in a all center business in their division handling Western Appliances Strategic Group. Esha Singh is dreaming to be a model but has comprised has dream to ealistic of earning a living by working at this call center. She is liked by Uroom Malhotra who is a tech greek and is good in designing the automated system for the organization apart from taking calls. However, Esha wants to pursue him and is not giving any room to him. Shyam is the leader of the team members. He is looking forward towards a prompation in this appraisal cycle. There is another character Priyanka. She is ex-girlfriend of Shyam. Priyanka has broken with Shyam and planning to get married to another guy working in Microsoft. Among all these characters, you will find Radhika Jha who is married and is working at this call center just to ensure she paves for her family and look forward for a comfortable life with her mother-in-law. The last but not the least Military uncle who has taken up this job after retirement. He is strong on his principle and value system. One night they all go out and they get a call from GOD … they talk to him and their lives changes completely.
